Show Garden – Bee’s Gardens

We are pleased to welcome Bee’s Gardens to this years show. They 
will be creating an idyllic, inspiring garden for you to enjoy.
Aptly named, The Penumbra.

This border uses the architectural forms of Dicksonia
antartica, combined with lush ferns, luxuriant foliage plants
and intermingled with flowering woodland plants.
Designed for a shady sheltered garden, to show that a
blooming border is possible in the shadows. Inspired by the
word ‘Penumbra’, meaning partial shade or the area in a
stroke with the potential to recover.
Weaving through the garden is a line of rusted metal tubes
that represent the arteries affected by stroke, with the
planting showing the strength and hope that support from
the Stroke Association can bring to survivors of stroke and
their families.
